As the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) gears up to form the government, BJP President J P Nadda on Thursday (6th June 2024). held a meeting with Union Ministers and senior party leaders in New Delhi.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Ministers Piyush Goyal, Pralhad Joshi, Mansukh Mandaviya and Ashwini Vaishnaw, BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, party leader Vinod Tawde and other senior leaders attended the meeting at Mr Nadda’s residence. Several JD(U) leaders also had a meeting with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s residence in the national capital. The meetings came a day after NDA leaders unanimously chose Narendra Modi as their leader.
NDA Parliamentary Party meeting is scheduled to be held in New Delhi on Friday (7th June 2024). Newly elected MPs of BJP, TDP, JDU, LJP (R), Shiv Sena (Shinde Faction), JD(S) and other constituent parties of NDA are expected to attend the meeting.
On Wednesday (5th June 2024), during the NDA meeting, a resolution was passed mentioning that India has witnessed all round development in every field under the leadership of Mr. Modi. The resolution also stated that the people of the country have elected a strong leadership with an absolute majority for the third consecutive term after six decades.
