Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Indian Navy on Monday (1st July 2024) paid tribute to the bravehearts of the Bangladesh Armed Forces who made the supreme sacrifice during the Liberation War of Bangladesh at the Shikha Anirban (eternal flame) at Dhaka. Admiral Tripathi is on a four-day official visit to Bangladesh.
The Chief of the Naval Staff held bilateral discussions with his counterpart Admiral M Nazmul Hassan, Chief of the Naval Staff, Bangladesh Navy at the Naval Headquarters, Dhaka on Monday (1st July 2024) afternoon.
The two Naval Chiefs discussed longstanding and robust ties between the two nations and navies and initiatives for enhancing maritime cooperation. They also discussed avenues for capacity building and capability enhancement, including coordinated operations towards bolstering interoperability in the maritime domain.
