On 12 Jan 2024, Friday gold was trading higher at the Multi Commodity Exchange for February contracts. The precious metal was up 592 rupees to trade at 62,380 rupees per ten gram. Silver futures for March contracts was also up 782 rupees to trade at 72,136 rupees per kilogram when reports last came in.
In the global markets, gold was trading with gains. The precious metal was trading up at 2,050 dollars and 10 cents per ounce at COMEX. Silver was trading higher at 23 dollars and 19 cents per ounce in the intra-day trade when reports last came in.
